The second special session of the Texas Legislature is now adjourned. The House and Senate concluded business Thursday after passing more items on Governor Abbott's agenda. The legislature also approved a bill to restore its own funding after the governor vetoed that part of the state budget over this summer. Both chambers are expected to return to the Capitol soon for another special session, which will be focused on redistricting.
