The Texas Transportation Commission approved a ten-year plan on Tuesday afternoon, and San Antonio is on the drawing board. The 2022 Unified Transportation Program allocates more than four-billion-dollars for the San Antonio district. Over the next four-years, the plan includes the addition of six express lanes to I-35, as well as the reconstruction of the interchange of I-10 West at Loop 1604. Other San Antonio projects would follow in the plan's later years, which includes 74-billion-dollars in statewide transportation priorities.
