Planned Parenthood is not going to perform abortions in Texas, for now. The group says they will still do health screenings for women in need. Planned Parenthood Action Fund President Alexis McGill Johnson also tweeted they will fight a new law in the court system and help Texans "navigate this dangerous law." The measure bans abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected. It also allows individuals to civilly sue abortion providers if they have proof abortions were done after the heartbeat was detected.
