A.J. Alexy dazzled in his major league debut as the Rangers beat the Rockies 4-3 in Arlington. Alexy tossed five scoreless frames, allowing just one hit and striking out four. He picked up the win in his MLB debut for Texas, which has won two straight. Leody Taveras, DJ Peters and Nick Solak all hit homers in the victory. Joe Barlow pitched a clean ninth for his third save of the year. The Rangers continue the series with Colorado tonight.
