Over 130 Texas firefighters are off to Louisiana to help in recovery efforts from Hurricane Ida. Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced the deployment which also includes a Chinook helicopter and crew along with 30 fire engines. Abbott says the state is perfectly happy with helping Louisiana because they sent resources to Texas when Hurricane Harvey hit four years ago. Louisiana was blasted by Ida yesterday.
