Texas House Closer To Passing Elections Bill

The Texas House is one step closer to passing sweeping election reforms in the state. The House voted 79-37 Thursday night to approve a revised version of Senate Bill One after twelve hours of debate. A final vote will take place today, with the Republican majority expected to pass the legislation. After that, the House and Senate will need to agree on a final version of the bill to send to Governor Abbott's desk.
