Doctors Say Coronavirus Symptoms Can Be Similar To Allergies

The spike in coronavirus cases comes during allergy season across much of the South. Dr. Jason Bowling at the University of Texas Health System says the timing is creating confusion among those who are coughing and sneezing. Doctors say some of the red flags of coronavirus are body aches and a loss of smell or taste. Those symptoms doesn't usually come with allergies. Dr. Bowling says the easy way to determine what you have is to take the same allergy meds that you always do and see if they're effective.
