Luis Garcia earned his 10th win of the season, tossing six-and-two-thirds shut-out innings as Houston took down the Royals, 4-0. Garcia struck out seven Royals as the Astros' pitching staff held Kansas City to just four hits in the game. Houston's bats wasted no time getting started with a Carlos Correa run-scoring ground out that was followed immediately by a two-run single from Aledmys Diaz single in the first. Correa added his second RBI of the night with a third-inning double. Houston widened their AL West lead over Oakland to four-and-a-half games and continue the series today.
