Andy Ibanez helped the Rangers tie things late as they eventually lost 8-4 to the Red Sox in 11 innings in Boston. Ibanez hit a two RBI double in the top of the ninth, pushing Texas to extras. Kolby Allard allowed three runs over six frames to get the no-decision on the mound. Dennis Santana surrendered a walk-off grand slam to take his third loss of the year. The Rangers have lost five of their last six and start a road series with the Indians tonight.
