The Texas State Supreme Court has temporarily blocked new mask orders in Dallas and San Antonio. Governor Greg Abbott had gone to court after Dallas and Bexar Counties enacted mask mandates last week, going against the state's mask mandate ban. Abbott said while the Texas Supreme Court decision imposes a temporary halt on mask mandates, it does not prohibit anyone from wearing masks. The governor tweeted, "anyone who wants to wear a mask can do so, including in schools."
