Texas Medical Center CEO Warns Of National Nurse Shortage

The CEO for Texas Medical Center says there is a national nursing shortage. Bill McKeon spoke to reporters yesterday, as the ICU neared 90-percent capacity. He said the coronavirus pandemic has led to many nurses taking other jobs, retiring early, or accepting travel positions that pay more. McKeon urged Texans who eligible for the vaccine to get one.
