There were plenty of boos and trash cans smacked as the Astros beat the Dodgers 3-0 in Los Angeles. Yordan Alvarez lifted Houston with his two-run homer in the eighth inning in front of the largest crowd in baseball so far this season. Michael Brantley had a RBI double for the Astros, which have won four of their last six. Lance McCullers Jr. outdueled Walker Buehler to earn his ninth win. Buehler took only his second loss on a night where Los Angeles went 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position. The Dodgers have lost three of their last five.
