For the second straight Olympiad, the United States women's soccer team is failing to make the gold medal game. The Americans fell 1-nil to Canada in Tokyo, dropping the first game to their neighbors to the North in 20 years and for only the fourth time ever. Jessie Fleming converted a 74th minute penalty kick for the Canadians to decide the game. The U.S. will compete on Thursday for a chance at the bronze medal.
