Hundreds Rally At Texas Capitol

Hundreds of people are gathered at the Texas Capitol in Austin today to push for the passage of a new federal voting rights bill. The rally wrapped up a four-day march from Georgetown to Austin, where civil rights leaders called on Congress to pass the "For The People Act." The legislation would require states to offer at least 15 days of early voting, provide universal access to mail-in voting and limit gerrymandering. Activists say new federal voting law is needed because they say GOP legislatures across the country are passing voting laws that restrict voter access.
