The Rockets selected guard Jalen Green with the second pick of the NBA Draft. Green played last season with the NBA G League Ignite, averaging 17.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. Houston also took Usman Garuba and Josh Christopher, while trading for the draft rights to Alperen Sengun. Houston sent two future first-round picks to the Thunder for 2021 MVP of the Turkish league.
