Police are investigating after a 16-year-old boy was shot to death at a Northeast Side apartment on Thursday evening. Police responded about 6 p.m. to the reported shooting at the Regatta Apartments on Scarsdale near Thousand Oaks Drive. Officers found the teenager inside an apartment with a fatal gunshot wound to his chest. He had been visiting others at the complex when he was shot. Police took statements from three other people who were in the apartment when the shooting happened. Officers are looking for the suspect.
