American Olympians log several medals in swimming at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Japan. Team USA men's and women's swimmers have both notched wins so far. Among the winners are Maryland native Chase Kalisz who took Gold in the Men's 400 Meter Individual Medley while his teammate Jay Litherland won silver. Houston area's Simone Manuel helped Team USA women win Bronze in the women's 400 meter freestyle relay. Emma Weyant of Florida earns Olympic silver in the women's 400 meter individual medley.
