More Testimony In Otis McKane Capital Murder Trial

Testimony continues today in the capital murder trial of a man accused in the 2016 ambush killing of a San Antonio cop. The jury heard on Monday from prosecutors who showed surveillance video from a local hotel to show where Otis McKane may have gone after the shooting death of Detective Benjamin Marconi. McKane's wife booked a two-night stay at the Econo Lodge on I-35 after the killing. McKane reportedly shot Marconi without warning as the officer sat in his patrol car. The trial resumes at 1:30 this afternoon.

Testimony continues today in the capital murder trial of a man accused in the 2016 ambush killing of a San Antonio cop. The jury heard on Friday from Lieutenant Brent Bell, the victim's former supervisor. Otis McKane reportedly shot Detective Benjamin Marconi without warning as the officer sat in his patrol car. Bell described the killing as "execution-style." McKane could get the death penalty if he's convicted. The trial resumes at 9:00 this morning.
