The unemployment rate in Texas is falling fast, and businesses everywhere are looking for employees. The state jobless rate was nearly 12% in May of last year, but by May of 2021, it was below six-percent. The Texas Workforce Commission says about 900-thousand jobs are posted on WorkInTexas.com. TWC Spokesman Cisco Gamez says unemployment claims are way down as well.
