The Texas Legislature will debate the election security bill tomorrow. The House and Senate will have committee meetings on Saturday on HB 3 and SB 1. Republicans say the bills need to become law to tamp down on voter fraud. Democrats say the bills are really voter suppression. House Democrats prevented a similar bill from passing in May after walking off the floor shortly before a vote deadline.
