Texas GOP New Election Integrity Bill To Ban Drive-Thru Voting

Texas Republicans are introducing a new voting bill meant to improve election integrity in the state. It's similar to an election bill Democrats blocked in May by walking out of the session to prevent a vote. The bill would ban drive-thru voting, require an ID for mail-in voting, and empower partisan poll watchers. The new bill would not ban Sunday morning voting, a measure that was criticized in the last bill for the effect it may have on black voters.
