The woman who murdered Selena could be set free within four-years. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice says Yolanda Saldivar will be eligible for parole on March 30th, 2025, almost 30 years to the day after she shot the Queen of Tejano. Saldivar was the founder of the Selena Fan Club and ended up being an employee of the singer. But Selena's father, Abraham Quintanilla, fired Saldivar after he found out she was embezzling. Saldivar killed Selena at a motel in Corpus Christi and is serving a life sentence for the crime.
