A Houston police officer is in the hospital after he was shot on Monday while investigating a disturbance involving a parking space. Officers responded around 11 a.m. to an apartment complex on Northpines Drive in Kingwood after a woman said a man spat in her face in an argument over the space. When police went to the man's apartment, he reportedly shot one of them in the arm and the abdomen. The other officer grabbed the 26-year-old suspect. Neither the officer's nor the suspect's names have been released.
