San Antonio Holds 4th Of July Celebrations

Fourth of July celebrations will return to San Antonio after being canceled last year due to the pandemic. SeaWorld San Antonio will hold fireworks shows beginning tonight. Another show will be held tomorrow night, with the final show on the night of the Fourth of July.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Parks Foundation and the City of San Antonio will hold its Fourth of July celebration on Sunday from eleven in the morning until 9:30 in the evening. The event scheduled at Woodlawn Lake Park will include food trucks, vendors, carnival games, entertainment, and a fireworks show.

The River Walk will be decked out with patriotic decor this long 4th of July weekend as part of Bud Light Stars, Stripes & Lights. Downtown bridges and trees will be sporting a red, white, and blue motif. The perfect backdrop for photos. Post your images on social media using #SAriverwalk

The Armed Forces River Parade will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The patriotic parade is dedicated to the men and women who serve in all branches of the Armed Forces. Eighteen star-spangled floats carrying representatives of all 6 branches of the military. Patriotic and American-themed rock/pop music is played from the floats throughout the 2 1/2 mile downtown parade route on the River Walk.
