Tropical Storm Elsa is weakening as it moves over land. The National Hurricane Center says the storm is losing strength as it impacts northern Florida after making landfall earlier today. It now has winds of up to 50 miles per hour as it moves to the north at 14 miles per hour. It's also around 100 miles west of Jacksonville. Forecasters say the Georgia coast could be dealing with tropical storm conditions later today and into tonight. The South Carolina coast is likely to be dealing with those same conditions tonight and into tomorrow. Along with heavy rain, forecasters say some tornadoes are possible throughout the day in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
