Mayor Ron Nirenberg says city officials will act immediately on recommendations in a report about the February freeze. Nirenberg formed the emergency preparedness committee in March, and they delivered their 46-page report on Thursday to city council, CPS Energy, and the San Antonio Water System. The report contains more than 50 recommendations as to how to prepare for the next winter emergency, and what to do when it happens.
