Legendary Texas A&M football coach R.C. Slocum is fighting cancer. The Aggies announced Tuesday Slocum has Hodgkin's lymphoma and will be getting chemotherapy in College Station. Slocum says he's thankful for all the support while noting he's trusting there will be a positive outcome. He led A&M to a Big 12 title in 1998 along with three Southwest Conference titles in the early 90's. Slocum is currently a special assistant to the A&M president.
