A San Antonio veteran who lost both legs has a new home in Boerne, thanks to Gary Sinise. The home in the Tapatio Springs subdivision was custom-built for Captain J.J. Guerrero. The Peruvian native served in the U.S. military for 23 years before an explosive device took out the vehicle he was riding in. The Gary Sinise Foundation customized Guerrero's new home with wide doors and sinks to accommodate a wheelchair. Guerrero was presented with the keys on Thursday.
