Tourists and shoppers are returning to downtown San Antonio after a pandemic-dampened year. Downtown businesses say they're expecting a busy and profitable summer season and it starts with this Memorial Day Weekend. Hospitality is a $15 billion industry in San Antonio, and hotels and conventions took a beating last year. Richard Oliver with Visit San Antonio says hotel occupancy in 2020 hit a low of 20%. He says hotels expect to hit 60% for Memorial Day Weekend.
