The Rangers are starting their road series with an 11-5 loss to the Angels in Anaheim. Texas could not rally back to catch the Angels after L-A posted a six-run fourth inning. Nick Solak scored for the Rangers in the top of the fourth on a wild pitch from Angels' staring pitcher Andrew Heaney but Texas left two runners stranded in scoring position as the half inning closed. Adolis Garcia knocked out a two-run homer in the sixth while Khris Davis and Charlie Culberson scored in the ninth as the Rangers tried to chip away at the Angels lead. The series-opening loss snapped the Rangers three-game winning streak but Texas aims to bounce back and split the series tonight against the Angels.
