Freeman Shelter For Immigrant Kids Closes

One of the shelters for illegal immigrant children in Texas has closed. Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff says at the peak, more than 2,000 boys were living at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio. Wolff says this shelter, like the others, was meant to be temporary. Over the last six weeks, the vast majority of the boys were united with either their families or a sponsor. There are still about 22,000 unaccompanied children in the care of Health and Human Services.
