San Antonio police say a woman was shot to death in front of her young children during a domestic violence attack this morning. It happened about 7 a.m. at the Beldon Apartments off Harlow Drive.
San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said the 28-year-old woman was loading her children up for school, when she was shot while behind the wheel of her vehicle in what he called "an ambush." The children, ages 10, 6 and 2 saw it happen. McManus says a man believed to be the woman's estranged husband is now in custody.
