Northside ISD Will Encourage Masks In Schools After Mandate Ends

Education

San Antonio's largest school district will encourage its faculty and students to keep wearing masks after the mandate ends. Gov. Greg Abbott recently announced that Texas schools will no longer be allowed to require masks after June 4th. Northside ISD Superintendent Brian Woods says he was surprised by the governor's decision. Woods says the district will keep its mask mandate in place until the deadline, and will encourage their use afterward.
