The Rangers suffered a 7-4 loss to the Yankees in the second game against New York at home. Rougned Odor went 2-for-5 against his former team in his return to Globe Life Field since being designated for assignment at the end of spring training and then traded to the Yankees. Nick Solak, now the Rangers second baseman, brought in the first run with an RBI single and then hit his eighth homer of the season with two outs in the fifth to pull Texas within 5-4 before New York ran off with the win. The series continues tonight.
