The Astros are slugging their way to a 9-1 victory over the Angels. Houston knocked out a season-high five home runs starting with a leadoff homer from Jose Altuve. Yuli Gurriel added a two-run shot later in the first inning before Kyle Tucker hit a homer for a second straight game with a two-run drive in the sixth for a 5-0 lead. Yordan Alvarez and Chas McCormick also went deep as the Astros claimed their second consecutive series. Houston opens a four-game series against the Texas Rangers tonight.
