The Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders fight held at AT-and-T Stadium on Saturday is officially being recorded as the largest indoor boxing event in U.S. History. The record crowd of 73-thousand-126 surpassed the previous record of 63-thousand-350 when Muhammad Ali defeated Leon Spinks in their rematch of a heavyweight title fight in New Orleans in 1978. The crowd in attendance for Alvarez's eighth-round technical knockout victory over Saunders was also the largest post-pandemic crowd to be held at the home of the Cowboys.
