The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is reporting the discovery of a massive illegal gambling operation on the North Side. Sheriff Javier Salazar says a bingo hall on Blanco Road near Mariposa had been under investigation for about a week. The SWAT team, Gang Unit, and Organized Crime Unit found more than 100 gambling machines, plus hundreds more that weren't working. They also found drugs, guns, and a 16-year-old girl who may be a human trafficking victim. Deputies detained a dozen people onsite. No word yet about charges.
