Yankees fans still holding a grudge against the Astros did not hold back the boos and heckles as New York took a 7-3 win over Houston to open the three-game series. Alex Bregman briefly shushed the deafening crowd with a first-inning home run but then gave Yankees fans another reason to jeer with a fielding error in the sixth inning that allowed three runs to score. Michael Brantley also homered for Houston, while Jose Altuve took the brunt of the boos and bad words while extending his hitting slump to one for 24 as both he and Carlos Correa went 0 for 4. The series in New York continues tonight.
