San Antonio city staffers say a rental assistance program may have enough money to last into September. The Emergency Housing Assistance Program has already doled out more than 93-million-dollars to more than 34-thousand households in the city and the county. The funds are used to pay rent, mortgage, and utility bills. The program lately has a budget of more than 133-million-dollars. City staff are hoping to add at least five-million more to benefit county residents.
