The Astros fell just short of taking the series sweep over the Seattle Mariners with a 1-0 loss at home. Carlos Correa broke up Mariners' starting pitcher Yusei Kikuchi's no-hit bid in the seventh inning with a double. Houston left Correa stranded and it remained the only hit the Astros got off Kikuchi. The Astros open a six-game road trip tonight in the first of a three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays.
