Congressman Joaquin Castro is expressing his support for President Biden's decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan. Biden announced that he will start on May 1st to draw down America's 25-hundred troops from Afghanistan and bring them back to the U.S. by September 11th. Castro tweeted on Wednesday that U.S. diplomatic engagement with Afghanistan will continue afterward. Castro's post was retweeted by his twin brother, failed Democratic presidential candidate Julian Castro.
