The Rockets stayed close to Phoenix but the Suns record-tying 18 three-pointers in the first half ultimately handed Houston a 126-120 defeat. The Rockets dropped 17 three-pointers but were overshadowed by the Suns franchise-record 25. Together Houston and Phoenix combined for a total of 42 three-pointers, just one shy of an NBA record. Christian Wood led the Rockets with 25 points and 15 rebounds while Kevin Porter Jr. dropped another 22. Houston returns home Wednesday aiming to snap the three-game skid as they take on the Indiana Pacers.
