Trooper Wounded By Suspected Bryan, Texas Gunman Remains Hospitalized

A Texas Department of Public Safety trooper wounded in a shootout with the suspect in a workplace shooting in Bryan, Texas remains hospitalized in serious, but stable condition.

Trooper Juan Rojas Tovar is hospitalized in Bryan. He was wounded while attempting to take Larry Bollin into custody. Bollin is accused of opening fire at the Kent Moore Cabinet facility where he worked. The shooting left one worker dead and four wounded.

Bollin is now being held on multiple charges.

A prayer vigil is planned for Sunday night at 7 p.m. at the Madison County Courthouse. A fund has been set up to support Trooper Tovar at the Prosperity Bank in Madisonville.
