Man Charged In Bryan, Texas Shootings

Police have identified the suspect in a workplace shooting that left 1 person dead and 4 people wounded in Bryan, Texas.

Bryan police identified the suspect as 27-year-old Larry Bollin of Grimes County. Bollin has since been charged with murder and booked into the Brazos County Jail and is being held on a $1,000,000 bond. More charges could be filed.

Bollin is accused of opening fire at the Kent Moore Cabinets facility in Bryan Thursday afternoon. After fleeing the scene, he was later involved in a shootout with officers. During the shootout, a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper was wounded and is now hospitalized.

Bryan police identified the person killed as 40-year-old Timothy Smith. They also reported that two of the four victims who were wounded are in critical condition, while the other two are in stable condition. The trooper, Juan Rojas Tovar, who was wounded underwent surgery overnight at St. Joseph Health in Bryan and is listed in critical condition. "We remain hopeful his condition will improve & appreciate the many kind thoughts and prayers," said DPS in a tweet.
