STAAR Tests Delayed By Technical Issues

The launch of public school academic readiness exams or STAAR tests around the state are delayed. State education officials said the first day of the STAAR testing yesterday was suspended due to technical issues. Even with COVID-19 restrictions in place until recently, state officials decided that the academic assessment exam is to be administered in person to students around the state this year. In a statement the Texas Education Agency says the test administration vendor is working to fix the problem.
