San Antonio police are investigating the shooting deaths of a man and woman whose bodies were found in a Northeast Side home on Tuesday. Officers were requested to do a welfare check at about 4 p.m. at the home on Chittim Trail. They found the man and woman, described as in their 40s or 50s, dead of gunshot wounds. EMS pronounced them both dead at the scene. Police aren't sure if their deaths involved domestic violence, and it's not clear if they resulted from a murder-suicide.
