Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick Says Nothing Has Changed With Mail-In Ballots

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is setting the record straight following the passage of Senate Bill 7, which aims to ensure voter integrity. The bill would limit extended early voting hours, prohibit drive-thru voting, and make it illegal for local election officials to send unsolicited vote-by-mail applications to voters. Patrick says the media, and Democrats, are spreading lies when they say the bill suppresses the votes of people of color, or those with disabilities.
