The Alamo Citizen Advisory Committee is announcing the finalization of its proposed changes to Alamo Plaza. The plans include repairing the Cenotaph but not relocating it, making sure the redesign preserves pedestrian access, and leaving room for traditional events such as ceremonies and parades. In addition, Alamo Street from Houston to Crockett could be closed to vehicular traffic by June 1st. San Antonio City Council will consider taking action April 15th.
