An investigation is underway after a deputy was shot in Dimmit County. The injured deputy was flown to a hospital in San Antonio last night. The deputy's condition hasn't been released. The shooting happened last night near Highway 85 and FM 1867 in Big Wells east of Eagle Pass. The report says the suspected shooter is in custody.
