More Than A Million COVID-19 Vaccine Doses Hitting Texas This Week

Over a million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are expected to arrive in Texas for distribution this week.  The Texas Department of State Health Services says over eight-hundred-thousand of the doses go to nearly eight-hundred vaccine providers in more than two-hundred counties. The other two-hundred-or so thousand doses go to pharmacy chains that are participating in the vaccination campaign around the state. In Texas as of yesterday, nearly seven-million people had gotten dose number one. Almost four-million people in Texas are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
